Welcome to Human Physiology Primer 2! We began researching the human body, outlined the basic concept of cell and organ function and its integration to maintain life. This is an important introduction on how the physiologist looks at the body. As we advance the organ system, we return to these basic concepts again and think about how they respond to routine functions and disease disorders. What I will do this week is to watch the six videos, answer the video questions, read the notes on each topic and complete the two question sets (dynamic balance, transporter and channel, endocrinology concept). Following the video sequence is very effective. These instructions provide a more detailed summary of each topic. We encourage you to find the best resource (video or memo) for you. I finished a series of questions as homework. We strongly recommend that you solve these problems. They are not evaluated and are only for your personal feedback.
