The legal, constitutional and judicial reform of Solon was proposed twenty years after Athens politician and poet Solon, who served as governor (governor of the year) in 594 BC. Following the conflict of Athens between the nobility of the land and farmers in the early sixth century, Solon was asked to arbitrate unjustifiable injustices, even middle class craftsmen, merchants, farmers could not participate.

Solon's economic reform is called "removing the burden" and resolves the debt, which is one of the direct causes of the crisis. All debts were canceled, the debtor of the slaves was released, and the safety of the forbidden person was borrowed. Solon further strengthens the Athens economy by promoting the trade and industrial development of Attica.
