Socrates and Love

In a seminar written by Plato, Socrates and others talked about love in the house of Agathon. Socrates did not sing "honor" like other participants (94), talking to a woman named Diotima and talking to the audience that he thought that he was the truth of love. He first talked to Agathon to maintain the same wavelength as myself. Socrates asked Agaton a series of questions - which led to a complete confusion of Agaton and a complete reconsideration of the entire speech he just completed.

The theory of love by Pausanias and Eriximachus can reflect the love of Alviddeto against Socrates, as his love for Socrates contains the situation between the two. When Alcbides insisted on asking him to go to bed with him, he asked Socrates to love so that he could gain virtue. Between Socrates and Jesus we have a parallel passage of "love" and "respect" here. In contrast to Socrates and Jesus (first person singular), the verb of love is different. For Socrates, love is friendly, like Jesus love is an amphoteric relationship, its requirement is explained in our quotation. This is Greek love. The same word will appear next time. In the first person singular type used in Socrates (quoted form in the Greek dictionary), Jesus uses the second person plural form (This is a bit strange, since paradigm gives epislon, see êta here ). Now I am not convinced that "respect" is the best translation in both cases. "Hug" or "open" may be better as long as "hug" is not literally too literal. As a member of "Love", Jesus is using "brothers" ("brothers")
