Social Technology Systems and Management Styles Today's advanced technology In the workplace, the company is studying several new management styles and concepts. One of them is the theory called Social Technical System (STS). This is the theory which has been present since about 50 years ago. Fred Emery, a member of many executives and the STS foundation team, thinks that STS is outdated, and other managers have also made great success with STS. With this new management method, we need to make some changes.
