Many studies on aid behavior may be criticized as ethnic-centered only in the United States. Therefore, this study is quite limited due to lack of diversity of the study population. Rattan and Darley are the first people who systematically investigated whether bystanders can not intervene to help others and promote social behavior. However, care must be taken not to extend the findings to other cultures. The same situation does not necessarily apply to any population.
