Research Questions This research aims to study women's sexual objectiveness in today's music video. The main purpose is to check the difference between genre, especially hip hop and country. I have tested the following; women tend to be sexually localized in hip-hop music videos than country music videos. Literature Review Since the explosion of the music video in 1981, the majority of its popularity was attributed to female objectivity and sexual orientation.
Conrad, Dixon and Zhang (2009) surveyed rap music videos and pointed out that they transitioned from violence to sexual aversion. Women in lap videos are placed in an objective and sexual position with male partners. Researchers believe that this "shows severe gender dislocation and prefers men over women". However, the position of a female subordinate is not specific to the hip-hop type. According to a 2009 analysis by Weitzer and Kubrin, 22% of the rap songs investigated in their study included lyrics that dislikes women. Researchers, however, found that some studies seemed to be less misogynous women than expected in rap music, but other music types like rock music included women's more negative images He pointed out. Rap music is a subset of hip-hop music that has become a controversial genre since the birth of the late 1970s. For many people, rap music is related to obscene words, violent themes, and women's sexuality. Nonetheless, this kind of history and its popularity on a global scale gives it a unique advantage in providing political commentary and resistance to it. Hip hop appeared in a very poor time in southern Bronx. After the civil rights era, the large urban African-American community experienced serious investment and was neglected by the government. Without their own mistakes, urban areas like the Bronx are full of crime, violence, unemployment and substance abuse. The young culture inspired by these difficult times insists their identity and tries to express the struggle for the stranded people. Hip hop is a product of this era, apartheid in the history of the United States.
