Socio-Cultural Aspects of Family Planning

According to social and cultural studies in Tanzania, in some areas it is shown that the effects of family planning are caused by both male and female factors. In some countries of the SSA, whether women's power and birthrate can be prioritized is closely related to the use and selection of family planning methods. In most countries of SSA, women's participatory negotiations are limited in scope and in some countries it is an important determinant of the use and selection of family planning methods. The results also highlight the importance of women's socio-economic status in choosing a specific family planning method, and speaks of reproductive preferences.
