Societal Challenges Faced by Veterans Today

Imagine that you must play military channels on TV to make you fall asleep, or to make sure that garbage seen on the highway is not an improvising explosive device. You may need to record the sound of war on the recorder to play on your own to fall asleep. Please imagine that you are sleeping with your spouse. Be afraid to kill them while you are asleep, avoid being hidden all the time when you listen to the topics outside.

Retirees face many challenges when they quit their jobs such as unemployment, temporary secretariat, homeless, drug and alcohol abuse, unstable family life. These challenges are reality, but the best way to help veteran offenders face these challenges is to address the underlying cause of the problem. To serve veterans who do their best, you must give them what they have most missed. For veterans who are transitioning to private life, I encourage you to do something to help you regain your objectives, your imputed sense of belonging and your identity. Perhaps you will find it in your next career. Maybe you will find it joins a nonprofit organization, serving others and giving back others. Perhaps you will find that it is a coach or mentor.

Veterans will face specific challenges when returning to private life. Why do you feel the need to emphasize this change?
