Social Work Methods

The purpose of this white paper is to define and explain the social work model and apply it to my recent placement experience and the initial evaluation I observed. I am working as a Christian independent adoption organization for 20 days and I am based in England. The theory and method of social work have traditionally been explored through a set of "triads of social work" (Brandon and Atherton 1997) - casework, group work, and community work. Among them, since casework dominates the nature of social work intervention in western countries, we began to clarify the mainstream of social work. This is largely due to major changes in policies and practices in the United States and the UK that affect and influence the nature of social work practice, not only in Europe but also globally. The latest major case work in these two countries is the United States, managed care, and UK care management / unified assessment.

The most common way is to check degrees with the International Social Work Degree Equality Identification Service (ISWDERS) offered by the Social Work Board of Education.
