Families and friends (especially spouses, partners, children) often play an important role in supporting people they love in times of difficult diagnosis and treatment [1].
However, breast cancer is likely to strain people's relationship and some people will notice emotional support for withdrawing from close friends and families [2]. When they most need it, intimate people may not support them as usual. As this may happen to anyone, if you need it, be prepared to ask for help from others.
Even if the relationship with family and friends is not nervous, other support sources (such as support organizations) will be useful.
The focus of the support group varies. Several groups mainly provide information and education. Other people are focusing on emotional support
Spiritual and religious beliefs are the source of power and others help to deal with the diagnosis of breast cancer [3].
The religious community provides a close and cooperative environment, and many provide support groups for cancer patients
In a study conducted by the Cancer Support Community at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium that year, we used 577 people with metastatic breast cancer who are members of our cancer experience registration to learn about their clinical trial experience I asked the patient. This study showed that a considerable proportion of patients were concerned that they could take placebo and therefore did not consider clinical trials. Patients are also concerned about side effects, availability of exams in their areas, and whether the cost of participating in the study will be borne by their insurers.
We do not have to see our answer all the time. Let's see the familiar pink ribbon and community most of us, breast cancer community. Difference caused problems? For example, please ask someone with metastatic breast cancer. My other neighbor has been kicked out of the breast cancer support group for metastatic breast cancer. Others in her group - women with nonmetastatic cancer - have found that it is "depressed" to listen to her fight against complications and the fear of death. However, in the process of establishing this department, there is little support for treatment methods, ultimately the strength is not strong.
Doctors really do not know how to treat premenopausal women with metastatic breast cancer. Although it is said that there is no treatment plan, other times can "stay comfortable". Fortunately, my cancer "journey" (Supplement: Like many people with metastatic cancer I absolutely dislike words, I do not plan to go to the Caribbe for a vacation. I can reach out to the doctor who is willing to treat me.The doctor fought me and was fighting for the last seven years.
When I was 31 years old, my doctor said I had only three years of life: life for stage 4 breast cancer.
There is no standard treatment for male progressive, metastatic or recurrent breast cancer. Doctors may give the same chemotherapeutic combination to menopausal women who are in treatment of advanced and metastatic breast cancer. Further studies are needed to determine the effectiveness of combinations of these drugs for breast cancer patients. Aromatase inhibitors reduce the amount of aromatase in the body. Aromatase is an enzyme the human body uses to make estrogen. If other hormonal therapies do not work, aromatase inhibitors may be administered. Although these medications are used as standard treatment for breast cancer in postmenopausal women, physicians are still investigating their role in the treatment of male breast cancer.
