Social Rejection in the Film The Elephant Man

Based on Joseph Merrick's true story, Joseph Merrick was born in a deformed form and died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In this movie John Merrick was originally drawn as a foolish person, so he was placed in a circus show, he was ridiculed of his deformities and abused by his boss. However, when he got acquainted with Dr. Trevis and started a new way of life, his life got better.

Do you remember the movie "human"? I saw this sad movie when I was 12 or 13 years old. This is about a man named John Merrick with congenital disease that makes him very ugly. The terrible pain and refusal experienced by this poor person is unbearable. If you notice that this is the real story, this will be more difficult. "I am not an animal, I am a person," I will never forget what Mr. Merrick says. I do not know how to deal with it in real life. What if I knew him? Do I show sympathy, compassion, grace to him? Or, I avoid him and assume that other people are his friends, others will take care of him, others will tell him love. I can only hope for the kindness of mine.
