Social media as a vector for youth violence: A review of the literature

Violence adversely affects adolescent mental health, academic performance and interpersonal relationship. We show that teenage violence such as bullying, violence and violence is occurring online. We reviewed the literature on violence and online social media, showed that certain types of online violence are limited to dialogue via the Internet, but other forms of violence are related to direct face-to-face violence . The center of our aim is to use this information to reveal the real results of these online activities and to design effective prevention and intervention strategies. We discussed some of the limitations of existing literature, such as inconsistent definitions of some forms of online violence and excessive dependence on descriptive data. Finally, we recognize the growing landscape of online social media and discuss the future impact of social media and youth violence investigation.

This literature review will explain previous research and survey results on the impact of social media on undergraduates, adolescents, and children. Data gathered from several sources based on online education. Net social media may have a positive influence on student's self recognition in the community. Students using social media are twice as likely to participate in extracurricular activities as they like colleagues than other students. I feel that the greater the number of students using Facebook (as compared with students who do not use Facebook), they are connected to schools and the world. But with a lot of negative influences, students have used Faceebok to play books at the same time, and found that their multitasking brings a lower score than their more concentrated fellows. In addition to compromising grades, students may feel that they are eventually depressed. As Facebook's superiority continues to grow, we are beginning to realize the impact on society, especially young people.
