Health behavior theorists have long considered the importance of social impact in health decision making. For example, prominent social cognitive theory is incorporated into the anticipated structure of the outcome expected for social outcome, or the anticipated correspondence value in the personal environment. In essence, an individual will consider the expected approval or disapproval of his / her colleague for a particular health decision, and the perceived response will affect the decision made (Lusczynska and Schwarzer, 2007).

There are many social impacts that affect consumer decision-making processes. Social impact is a social factor that affects consumer decision making process. There are various social factors that influence consumer decision making process, including environmental or personal choice factors. Environmental factors include technical, cultural, political and demographic factors. Personal choice factors include buyer characteristics such as motivation, attitude, personality, perception, knowledge, lifestyle. These factors influence consumer decision-making process because most people are influenced directly or indirectly by society when selecting individuals and making decisions. For the purposes of this article, social factors are divided into four categories. These are cultural, social, psychological and personal factors. These are briefly explained below.
