"The current federal government system in the United States has not been able to fulfill the social contract obligations to American citizens." There is no more closer to the truth. Some may say that the government complies with social contract guidelines, but many aspects of the government have been passed beyond their guidelines. Because more than 15,000 jobs are involved in the government it is difficult to believe that the government of the 18th century is the same as our current government.

why? Because the American social contract was broken. Social contracts differ from legal contracts in important respects. It can be torn. How is the social contract in the US broken? In the most authentic way: Americans no longer expect or can not get to minimize the best life. Their life expectancies, incomes, savings, etc. are nearly the last indicators of welfare, and they are all falling. People who made their lives worse? They tore the unsuccessful social contract.
