One day, when a serpent is stabbed and his life is in great danger, Bob is walking in the forest. When he felt a sharp scratchy sound on the soles of his feet, he was just stepping on a piece of wood. He lowered his head and saw two small scratches on his leg. When I saw a snake lying next to a log just walking, the stinging sensation spread throughout his body. Bob makes many questions to his heart. He did not know what to do. He did not know if the snake was toxic. Bob began to panic.

Most snake bites occur in Africa and Southeast Asia. Snake bites are most common in rural areas where people in lack of funds live on low cost non-mechanical agriculture or other outdoor occupations. Farmers, women, children are most often bitten by snakes. Increasing the burden of these injuries is a socio-economic impact on families and communities. The victims of adults are usually wage laborers or carers on a family basis and the victims of children have permanent disabilities, so the needs of families and communities are rising.

Recordable death due to snake bite is not common. Non fatal bite from a toxic snake may require limbs or some of its cuts. Of the approximately 725 snakes in the world, only 250 people can kill humans in a bite. On average, there are fatal snake bites in Australia only once a year. In India, 250 thousand snake stings per year were recorded, and 50 thousand people recorded the first death. The World Health Organization estimates that the number of breaks and other permanent disorders caused by snake bites every year about 100,000 deaths and snake bites will increase by about 3 times a year.

Since snake bite is not a reportable disease, there are few reliable information on the occurrence of snake bites in many parts of the world. Snake bite is an important occupational injury affecting farmers, agricultural workers, pastors and fishermen. Sleeping on the floor in an open living room may be bitten by a night snake. Bites are more common in young men and usually occur in lower limbs. The incidence of snake bite is high during the rainy season and agricultural activities (6). According to available data, 30,000 to 40,000 people die from snake bites every year, but this number may be underestimated due to incomplete reporting (8). According to a recent global estimate, 5 million people died each year and 85,000 people died. In India, according to the recently published literature, 45,900 people died of poisonous snakes every year in some states and 6 to 12.6 people per 100,000 seem to be realistic (4, 5)
