Stereotype and misunderstanding are erroneous assumptions about the group. The stereotype is an erroneous estimate of a group formed by a small group of people who are ideal and meet group stereotypes. A stereotype is just an old idea of a group in the past, it is correct at that time, so a stereotype is also formed. Many of these groups have the potential to release the public group's beliefs for these stereotypes due to a few stereotypical extremists.
The stereotype parent problem is to classify very complex topics into large, broad categories. For example, a human being is too complicated to use a summary such as "all blondes are ridiculous" or "all smart people are geeks." Stereotypes use broad terminology to simplify the subject matter, but such attempts often end with incorrect results. Though they are widely summarized, stereotypes establish almost unshakeable terms. For example, Third World countries classified them into categories in a hurry, not for social or economic similarity but for convenience. Since then, developed countries had this stereotype that the third world is the land of hungry children and barbarian tribes. Despite decades of tremendous revision to this strict stereotype, many citizens accepted the wrong view of the third world countries and their citizens. Obviously, stereotypes should not be mistaken for fact information. !
Because of the geek's stereotypes, many smart people are often considered otaku. This belief is likely to be harmful as it is possible to "turn off" high school students afraid of being nerds and to have other attractive people regard themselves as otaku for their intelligence. Because someone is jealous, I think that an intellectual is an otaku. But Paul Graham says his article "Why Otaku is not popular," that intelligence is neutral. In other words, you are loved but not despised. He also pointed out that only relevance can automatically tension smart teenagers, and geeks are not sufficiently social. Furthermore, the reason why many smart children are disliked is that there is no time to do the necessary activities.
