Mathematics is one of the basic subjects of elementary school professors and is a necessary condition for the overall academic survival. In order for young learners to understand the future of mathematics, it is necessary to base on the early foundation of high quality, rewarding and accessible mathematics education (NCTM, 2013). An attractive and touching learning environment helps confidence in the ability of children to understand and use mathematics. However, mathematics has proved to be a problem for many students. In the world of technology, it is becoming increasingly important to incorporate technology-based instruction into the classroom.
Thinkster Math is ideal for families who want to master powerful conceptual math skills. We are trying to build mathematicians, not numerologists. In order to achieve this we emphasize words and logic problems by covering a wide range of mathematics courses. We will support students of all abilities. Students can fill the gaps in knowledge of their mathematics and / or extend their knowledge of mathematics over grades. We combine a one-to-one whiteboard conversation with digital worksheets and trained math coaches to provide a unique approach to young mathematicians of all levels.
I was not good at mathematics. And I always associate powerful math skills with natural abilities that are good at programming. I feel that I have to make more effort to learn the same concept than others (with mathematical natural skills). Because this idea is deeply rooted in my brain, I definitely will not learn how to trace binary search trees and how to solve recursive nightmare like Mergesort mentally. But CS Playground React becomes very simple and will investigate a very specific set of topics. Also, this does not mean the next big thing. Building this app is just a fun way to learn about this. If it becomes a valuable resource for others in the process, it is even better.
The fixed idea is when you believe skills are fixed functions. This person is very smart, this person is very ridiculous, this man is good at mathematics, that person is very artistic. The skill to think as a fixed function is helpless. Whether you are born with skills or not, no matter how much effort you are going to work with little or no effort. This way of thinking tends to die in fear of making it clear to others (or admitting yourself) that you are not good at something.
