If you are looking for a general slime prescription, our basic mucus prescription can be found here: a way to make slime using a contact solution. For our slime formulation, I like to use a contact lens solution instead of pure borax. If you have never made mucilage before, we recommend that you try this basic formula. It is easier to make than fluffy mucilage, you will know how much kneading is needed and whether you adhere it to form mucus. Fluffy lasts only one day. Therefore, if you are planning to store it for future use, please be aware that the shaving cream will settle and it will not be as fluffy as the next day.
