If you are looking for a story of "foreigners" who plunder the land filled with fundamental movement, they will fight the Mexico soldiers 'bloody' hordes in a sacred place in Texas independence. It is definitely not for you. A thin, scholarly article (less than 200 pages of actual text) that understands the battle of Alamo and is more suitable for those who read other books on this topic. The main discussion of Crisp was well thought out; it is worth noting that much of the past injustice in Alamo's writing is rooted in the racist attitude of the 1800s after the collapse of Alamo.

From his childhood, I can see that he touched a racist attitude unless he was a Texan, as long as he was only noticed when he was a teenager. It does not mean they are bad people. However, he explained that this attitude was what Tayanos born in Texas called 'short poles' when discussing Alamo. So what we get is more about personal discovery and education of Alamo's story.

If you are not familiar with the controversy about the de la Pena diary (Mexican soldier battle record) and you want to examine just how Cravy (who likes David) Crockett passed, no doubt other books There is a market. You should read it first. On the other hand, if you are familiar with the battle and legends of Alamo as mentioned above, you will want to pick up this latest Alamo book.

Crisp, James E. pulled Alamo: the last position of David Crockett and other mysteries of the Texas Revolution. New York: Oxford University Press, 2005. Alamo's Book Review: The final position of David Crockett and the other mysteries of the Texas Revolution concern racial discrimination rather than history itself. Davy Crockett is one of the most famous mythical figures in American history and he is known as frontier, folk hero, parliamentarian, and advocate of Alamo. The biography of Crockett often says that there are actually two Crocketts. Alamo martyr, David, Land Warrior and Congressman, and David. This is a big fork hero than life. His work is celebrated with several books and a series of yearbooks. Historic David Crockett was born in 1786 as a pioneering family of the Nolichucky River in eastern Tennessee. The family follows the Western solution model and David moved three times at the age of 12. Later, as a young man with his family, Croquet kept moving west until he settled in the northwestern part of Tennessee. In 1813, in Clark, the Tennessee militia was slaughtered by the residents of Creek Fort.

The problem of Crockett during the siege of Alamo became obscene by all the news of the way he died. The death of David Crockett always caused a strange original creature. For children of my age, in Walt Disney's Davy Crocket, the last scene of the Wild Frontier King is addictive and Fess Parker shakes him and stands on the wall of Alamo. The sky rifle has become a Mexican soldier who can not stop. Near their bayonet. I remembered it when I was seven, but I was surprised that Davy Crockett could not survive. A scene close to death was taken in the sound field itself, as the movie gradually disappeared before the death scene itself, or actually it died. This is just a small part of Disney's cost savings, creating feelings of claustrophobia. The impact of Crockett's fate has developed into a martyr of Rhapsody rifle style and American boys can not resist it.
