Slavery exists when a person has absolute power to others. In this case, a slave can not dominate his life, freedom, and wealth. When it becomes Roman law, slavery is very common and accepted by people. Since most citizens of ancient Rome practice slavery, they must comply with the rules and regulations that these citizens must comply with in order to maintain order. This allowed Romans to grow and prosper. African slaves were first brought to Europe in 1442 (2). After discovering the West Indies, African slaves were brought there to develop the land. They are more popular than the Arawak Indians, and they are mostly swept away by harsh climates and cures. A particular race does not have to be a slave, but under the worst conditions more people can do the most work. This also results in the fact that slavery arises from the need to get rid of bad labor. Africans will be the first choice of slavery for their physical endurance
