The Dutch have been involved in slave trade since the beginning. The ship that shipped the first African people to Britain North America in 1619 is considered to be a pirate by Flushing in Trier. In partnership with British pirate ship Treasurer, Trier caught a Portuguese slave ship Săo Joă Bautista on his way from Angola to South America. Trier and the treasure sold the arrested slave to the British Jamestown colony.

When the West India Company (WIC) decided to expand its base in Manhattan, the director ordered African slave groups to work as labor. The first slave arrived in 1624 for the construction of farms, public works and the fortress of Amsterdam. Slaves were owned by WIC and initially not sold to private owners. The slave of WIC was released after years of voluntary service and gained land for livelihood. In this way, by the middle of the 17th century, a small group of free black communities appeared in New Amsterdam.

2. In 1637 the Dutch occupied the Elmina Fortress on the coast of West Africa and was able to acquire the slaves of the Brazilian sugar cane plantation. The Dutch were deeply involved in the slave trade in the Atlantic, but slavery played a small role in the development of New Holland.

Nieuw-Nederland, or New Netherland, is a colonial state of seven Dutch Republics, approved in 1614, and is part of New York, New Jersey and other neighboring countries. The peak of the population is less than 10,000 people. The Netherlands established an amateur system that gives the feudal rights of a few powerful landlords; they also established religious tolerance and free trade. The new capital of Colony, Amsterdam, was founded in 1625 and has become the major city of the world and is located at the southern end of Manhattan Island.

New Netherlands (Dutch: Nieuw Nederland, Latin: Nova Belgica or Novum Belgium) is a colony of the 17th century Dutch Republic on the east coast of North America. The territory extends from the Dermalba Peninsula to the southwest corner of Cape Cod, but Pennsylvania and Rhode Island have small branches. The colony was invented by the West India Company (WIC) of the Netherlands in 1621 to exploit North American fur trade. It was resolved at first slowly due to insufficient management of WIC policy and conflict with American Indians. While the new Swedish settlement in southern Sweden invaded South Wing, the northern border was subdivided to accommodate the expanding New England Union

Nieuw-Nederland includes the Atlantic coast of the current northeastern United States. A Dutch explorer visited this area and later moved to the West India Company in the Netherlands. This settlement origin was originally in the Hudson River (1614 - 7) of the Nassau River in Albany, New York State, and New Amsterdam was established in Manhattan Island in 1625. After the Dutch absorbed the Christina settlement in Sweden in 1655, New Holland reached the largest scale and finished the new Swedish North American colony.
