For the 6-minute walk test, there are many tools for evaluating functional athletic performance, most of which provide excellent information on the body system. In the past, functional exercise was evaluated by asking patients "How many steps can you climb the stairs and how many blocks can you walk?" However, this evaluation is a subjective measure.

A 6-minute walk test is actually one of the easiest tools to measure someone's functional abilities, suffering from diseases such as heart failure. Simply put, someone moved the hall up and down in 6 minutes and confirmed the distance that we could reach within 6 minutes. Obviously, those who can walk a longer distance in 6 minutes have better functions and can walk without moving in 6 minutes. It is indeed used as a gold standard for many, long-term measurements and pulmonary hypertension. A small study we conducted at the International Cardiopulmonary Transfer Association's conference was the use of this dynamic form of nitric oxide in patient's 6-minute walk test. We discovered that patients using it during walking have much more functional capabilities than those who do not use it.
