Sir Walter Raleigh

Sir Walter Laurie was born in Hess Burton, England in 1552 and died on London October 29 in London, England (Miguel 918). He is a soldier, courtier, entrepreneur and explorer. These phases in his life led to a poetic work and a circular view of the British court (Sauer 130). Sir Walter Rowley not only gathered his experience of life but also analyzed every aspect of life while writing poetry. Raleigh 's poetry is a place of conflict and he is trying to write him to the world (Miguel 922).

In 1584 British colonial rule began in 1584 when 108 crew members of Sir Sir Walter Rowley's Lord, conducted by Richard Glennville and Ralph Ryan, arrived at Roanoke Island. On June 4, 1584, the colony of Roanoke Island in Virginia was founded by Sir Walter Rowley who was named Elizabeth Queen I "Virginia" and was appointed governor of the new territory. The American colony moved to John White in 1587 and established the British Roanoke colony. On August 18, 1587, Virginia Dahl was born in Roanoke colony and became the first British child born in British colonial period.

Queen Elizabeth I presented the first charter in North America to Sir Walter Laurie. Sir Walter Raleigh sent his first colonial duty to Roanoke Island now in North Carolina. Originally, the name "Virginia" was applied to the entire east coast of North America from Cape Fear to most of Canada. Before Royal, Proprietary and Charter colonies were established, most colonies were financed and settled within the jurisdiction of securities companies operated under the Royal Charter. The exclusive charter colony was formed by a charter company. The Charter Company is made up of a group of investors seeking to colonize North America to earn money from the natural resources of the land through trade. The concessionaire is sponsored by a sovereign state which issues charter for each company.
