Sir Thomas More the Martyr

A martyr is defined as a person who voluntarily dies rather than abandoning his or her religious beliefs. When Sir Thomas Moore died in July 1535, he became a martyr. In the book "The Man in the Seasons" in the play, the author Robert Bolt shows his view on Moore's death. In this play, Thomas Cromwell, Richard Crich, King Henry VIII, Sir Thomas More are in charge of his death. It can be said that more people in Sir Thomas More's life are involved in his death, but these four roles ended him dead after all.
