Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's, The Speckled Band

The structure is that it must have an interesting beginning, an overall suspense, and a distortion of the last story that it would make the reader want to read. This special story, a narrator, Watson included all the characters necessary to gain the mystery of a good homicide. They are detectives, side kicks, suspects and victims.

The two works I compare in this article are the lambs of the spot band of Roald Dahl and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The speckled band was the mystery of a typical Sherlock Holmes homicide written in 1892. So you can safely anticipate that there are many differences between plot, language, and some themes (but both). Share common themes of homicide. Both articles are mysteries of murder, but there is one important difference. TSB recommends finding solutions to homicide by summarizing the evidence in sentences and by drawing conclusions deemed appropriate. Still, there are red squid clues that can attract readers.
