Single Parenting and Influence on Children´s Education Success

Introduction The purpose of this proposal is to draw academic attention to the need to investigate the relationship between single parents and the success of their careers. In recent years, parenting of a single parent has become a concern of society. Because children of these families are known to face serious social problems. Therefore, many problems are thought to be attributed to a broken core family, so children raised in a single parent family have problems with their adulthood, especially their careers.

In most studies parental education is considered to be the strongest link between success in children's school, grade number, and future success. Parents' education affects children's learning directly or through school choice, so we do not know how likely the direct impact and school-related factors may have relevance. Although it is difficult to organize the unique causal effects of parents 'education, direct implications are undoubtedly enormous given the close relationship between parents' education in students in each industrialized society and student achievement. In addition, quasi-experimental strategies are finding positive effects of parental education on child outcomes. For example, Korean children 's study in the United States showed that the educational level of foster parents is significantly related to the child' s education level.

One constant discovered in this study is that a single parent can influence the child's academic record. One outstanding discovery is that parents' education is related to positive academic records. According to the survey, when a child is in a complete family, the father's education level is more important to the child's academic performance than the mother's education level. However, in the parent households, the educational level of the parents the students live in is an important feature (Bateman & Kennedy, 1999). Another discovery that affects the success of school is the level of expectation of a child's parents.

Early care and education specialists are aware of the importance of parent involvement in children's education. In fact, it is becoming increasingly evident that children with family involvement in education are making greater success at school (Dearing, Kreider, Simpkins, & Weiss, 2006). Even before the child goes to school, the various experiences offered at home can have a big influence on the success of the child (Halle, Forry, Hair, Perper, Wandner, Wessel, & Vick, 2009; Justice, 2004).
