In the novel "Flying King", all the characters play an important role, and everyone in society shows a different influence from others. Simon 's innocence in the novel influenced his behavior and the way he carefully handled small things. He is a flat and static character with a positive role and gives him full support in everything he does. Simon did his best in every situation, so it did not abandon the hope of being saved and became the light of the island. As characters and plots develop, boys begin to change. Because each character loses innocence for freedom.

C. Simon: Simon: In a boys tribe on the island, Simon is a marginalized thanks to its unique maturity and moral life. He likes to be alone elsewhere on the island, yet Simon is trying to save the boys by helping them out of trouble. Unfortunately, his innocent efforts eventually ended his life, like the image of Jesus Christ. Caring person: Simon may seem indifferent to other boys because of isolation within the tribe, but he obviously is not; Simon is really very considerate of them. When others were busy entertaining, Simon poured his weakness by himself and built a hut for that cabin. Furthermore, when it left Jack 's severe blow, Simon recycled the spec of the flying pig.

The Lord compares the life of Simon with the life of Jesus Christ. In the novel, Simon is a peaceful young man trying to show boys that boys have no monsters on the island except for fear. Simon tried to state the truth: there was a beast, but "It was just us." When he did this revelation he laughed. This is quite different from the misunderstanding that Christ had to face in his life. In the second half of the story, savage hunters are chasing pigs. If they killed pigs, they placed their heads on the stick, Simon experienced Epiphany, among this epiphany he says, "I see the perennial fall, the wounded soul I am scared of the liberation of ". When Simon rushed to the boy to tell his discovery, he was struck with a spear, his prophecy was rejected, and the words he wanted to widen were ignored . Simon fell to the ground and said to be beautiful and pure

Simon made the king of the fury angry because he was the only islander who knew the beast. Lord of the Fly orders Simon to forget this knowledge and live with other boys on the island. When Simon ignored the increasingly growing pig in Simon's heart, the Lord's referee reminded Simon that he could not escape his fate. Then LOTF cried: "This is ridiculous! You fully know that you only see me there - do not try to escape!" (164). Simon's inner conflict and the last pass of the beast introduction have reached the climax, so being together with the Lord of the Fry may be the only way to save himself when he is pushed such a concept Hmm. "Fly King" ends their conversation, and in the future he pledged "having fun" with Simon on the island. And I told you a terrible future. Simon disappeared in the back of the jungle for the king of the fly.
