Similarities and Differences in the Protagonists in Shakespeare’s Henry V and Descartes’ Meditations of First Philosophy

In Shakespeare's Henry V and Descartes 'contemplation of the first philosophy', the heroes laid the groundwork for those after that period. King Henry conquered political power in France, and he won the commonplace. On the other hand Descartes went into the center of his heart, hoping to understand the conviction which is quite contrasting with the church. However, both characters turn to different directions and achieve the clarity and knowledge they want.

By contemplating the first philosophy, Descartes metaphysics was established. It recognizes his physics, as you can see from the analogy of his tree. In philosophical principles Descartes calculates the fundamentals of physics, and the first part is actually meditation meditation (slightly different). "Principles" are texts which greatly influence the development of modern physics. For example, Isaac Newton (1643-1727) will develop his physics as a reaction to Descartes and use the latter as his own foil. Therefore Descartes' physics (and his metaphysics) are thought to be incorrect, but it plays an important role in the development of modern physics.
