My child is participating in the project every year and if he reads for a certain period of time he can get a free ticket to the Silverwood theme park in Athol, Idaho. Since it is approximately one hour by car from Spokane, we contact the son's friend at the end of each summer and send it to Idaho State on the same day. Since Silverwood is the only reason I was there, I do not actually know if Athol itself has something else to recommend it. I apologize to Arthur. Roller Coaster Roller Coaster

Silverwood Theme Park is located near Coeur d'Allene in northern Idaho and is about 47 miles from Spokane, Washington State, US 95. Gary Norton, the owner, opened a park on June 20, 1988. Initially, in the park there were various carnival rides, shops and restaurants "main street", and a real steam locomotive running in the owner's premises in 30 minutes. From 1973 to 1988, the land and fully functional runway was operated as Henry Airport named after Norton bought the family in 1992.

Over the years, Silverwood has increased in size and popularity from small local amusement parks to local theme park destinations. In 2003, an adjacent water park called Boulder Beach Water Park opened. At the entrance to Silverwood theme park, entrance to Boulder Beach is included. In 2009, Silverwood began an annual Halloween event called Scarywood. And that happened in October. Manga Characters Garfield and Audi are the official mascots of the park. In 2009, Silverwood opened the Scully Wood Haunted Night, a night of horror filled with a panic zone and a maze of night. In 2010, Scarywood returned to a larger, larger scale. The main attractions of Scarywood include horror canyon trails, some labyrinths and drills, Brad Bayeux, indoor ghost attractions, planetary zombies, another indoor hunt, and wood horror: Retro
