Silence in the classroom Feminist in the classroom How to use silence in the class What is the active way to foster silence, the way to empower, the way to not shut down? Audre Lorde is widely cited as an adverse effect on silent women. She uses the word "silence" as an active verb, but people with power silence others in history. But I am interested in using the meaning of other silences, silence as a tool. It is discovery, creation, and true critical thinking. Our culture is afraid of silence. We bombed television and radio on their mobile phones.
Instead of placing it on an individual. I suggest that teachers explore the meaning of silence in the classroom through careful listening and exploratory practice. In the classroom, there is silence in the interaction between students and teachers in response to widely disseminated locally made words, or reflects how certain beliefs and identities talk and act (Gee, 1996; Wortham, 2006). When SIS teachers and students discuss different functions and usage of silence in different classes, they can pay attention to their classrooms. The recording of silence and dialogue via recording or videotape is a common text for this description. Teachers can work hard to understand how classroom communities collaborate and create silence, rather than promoting silence as a feature of individual "silent students". Tracking the silence mechanism in the classroom allows you to change the understanding of teacher and student education and learning roles and responsibilities. It tends to be silent as an important educational practice. I suggest that listening is an important aspect of teaching and detailing the content of listening to silence in teaching. Next, using existing studies and understanding of theoretical silence, I explain the meaning of many silences that can be considered in the classroom. In this article I will explain in detail two of the many meanings of silence that can be considered in the classroom. Silence is a symbol of power, silence is a kind of protection. First of all, I propose that silence can indicate power claims. After the speech period, the last speaker hears more than the students who are constantly speaking constantly. Her silence may turn attention to the meaning of her words. Secondly, silence can be used as a form of protection. As students are silent, students can follow customs and beliefs that may be vulnerable to colleagues and teachers.
