Signs, Symptoms and Awareness for HIV/AIDS Patients

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a slowly moving retrovirus that eventually results in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, commonly referred to as AIDS. This disease combination known as HIV / AIDS is marked as a worldwide epidemic and is causing controversy all over the world. When an infected person infects HIV through the use of sexual secretions, blood transfusions, and dirty needles, the disease begins. The virus enters through the opening of the vagina or anus, passes through the incision, and once it enters the body's blood, it infects HIV, but it does not necessarily have AIDS (WEBMD).

AIDS is a series of symptoms (or syndromes associated with viruses) caused by HIV. When the immune system is too weak to fight infection, they become infected with HIV and they develop certain obvious symptoms and diseases. If this is the final stage of HIV and the infection is very slow, you will die if you do not make it in time.

Stage 3 of AIDS or HIV occurs when HIV causes serious damage to the immune system. This is a complicated symptom and symptoms vary from person to person. Stage 3 HIV symptoms are associated with infections that can be caused by human immune systems can not fight them. They are collectively referred to as opportunistic infections including tuberculosis, pneumonia and so on. The immune system can not completely eliminate HIV, but it can be controlled over time. People living with HIV may not have symptoms at all for a latency period lasting several years. The symptoms of AIDS are mainly due to the fact that individuals with a healthy immune system usually do not develop infections. These infections are called opportunistic infections. The immune system of AIDS patients is destroyed by HIV and is vulnerable to this opportunistic infection. Common symptoms associated with most infections are fever, sweating, chills and weight loss. Lymph node hypertrophy is one of the symptoms of stage 1 HIV infection (acute HIV infection). Many acute HIV-infected people have no symptoms or signs before infection. Some people living with HIV show symptoms and signs (primary or acute HIV infection) 2 to 4 weeks after infection.
