I have been reading two books over the past few weeks. Tony Robbins's "Awakening Giant" and Malcolm Gladwell's "Dogs See". Whenever I read a book, I read it and I see the lessons and insights I can use to change my organization. Robbins' books are full of insight; Gladwell has that moment. These differences are due to differences in the structure and intention of the two books. Robbins wrote his book as a roadmap to help personal change; but Gladwell's book is a collection of articles he published earlier.
Tony Robbins is a superstar that transcends life. Since its publication in 1992, his book "Awaken the Giant Within" has been regarded as a self-help masterpiece. Some people say that his work and popular seminars have changed their way of life, but others think that his approach is superficial - more popular psychology than popular psychology. Still, for all sneaky people, Robbins has believers who are willing to spend thousands of dollars to coach with 2,500 others. However, not everything Robbins wrote should be regarded as gospel. Some of his proposals are ambiguous and difficult to apply to the real world. Other ideas have been proven wrong with the passage of time. Many people also doubt the fact that Robbins is not a licensed psychologist, trained therapist or qualified coach - in particular, he will at least be a millionaires Drop out of high school is still impressive - but he insists that he is still a personal science expert
