Every four years, Americans go to polling stations to vote for their candidates to become our next president. Most people think the majority votes of Americans are necessary to pick candidates they choose - but that is not that simple. In fact, depending on the size of the parliamentary delegation, each state receives several election votes. When a person votes for a presidential candidate they actually vote for a group of voters. This means that the winner of a universal campaign is not always elected president, which happens in the election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
Those who say that electoral universities should be abolished believe that this system only provides voters with unjust and illegal power in a few battlefield countries contrary to the principle of single vote. Those who think we should maintain electoral universities say that this system prevents majority factional tyranny and allows more diverse profits to be reflected in presidential elections.
Many people believe that the electoral association should be abolished. I do not think that we should do this. Right understanding, voters can play an important role. What happens if you choose a Manchurian candidate? Are you still a child rapist? If evidence of mass fraud is spreading in nearby elections? As long as the institution exercises its authority in a reflective and conservative way, it is useful for institutions to confirm the outcome of democratic elections. Very rarely - if at all - should refuse people's choice. If so, it needs a good reason
Some people think that electoral association is outdated, but we should modify this system, but I think it has not been abandoned for several reasons. If the United States wants to abolish election universities, it means to elect our president through a general voting system that could lead to complete political turmoil. Election colleges have several weaknesses, but it does not mean that they should not be totally fired. The idea of abolishing electoral colleges was abandoned for a while, but when George W Bush was elected president, despite the loss of referendum it gained new power. Many people pointed out this election and said, "This is the reason why the electoral college system does not work." They say that people talk, they are ignored, and the people they choose are not elected. This election shows why the abolition of electoral colleges is a perfect disaster.
From the perspective of presidential election, many people claimed that electoral colleges should be abolished - mainly the Clinton won the public's vote, but the trump that lost most of the election voting. Goa won the public's vote, but it was also related to the 2000 election that lost the right to vote for Bush. Even though Clinton won the popularity vote, if our election system is based on popularity it is important to consider that each candidate will completely change their campaign strategy. For example, cards would not be able to spend more time on campaigns in big red provinces like Texas and small swing states like New Hampshire.
