Pony Boy Curtis, the boy of a dead parent, is not the best. Pony Boy is the youngest of the three boys among his family. Eldest Curtis brother Dali treated him like a child. Daly did not want him to worry about financial problems including overwork of Dali. His friend Johnny stabbed and killed Soc, Bob in the park after trying to escape from his house. After the incident, they all ran away. Pony boy and Johnny went to Daly with money. Upon arriving at the abandoned church, Johnny and Pony Boy cut his hair and removed the identity. They were forced to grow and lost their sense of innocence. It is now time for them to become reality and face the result.

Johnny Cade is a 16 year old boy from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Johnny is suspected of killing Bob, but he should not be held responsible for his actions. One evening, Bob and the other four approached Johnny Cade and Pony Curtis in the park. That night, the boys were looking for a fight. Johnny recognized Bob and the other boys as they previously attacked Johnny. They noticed Bob 's drunk, so the boys are also worried. As Bob is hurting Johnny and Pony, boys act self-defense. For these reasons Johnny is not responsible for his actions.
