INTRODUCTION The First World War was a fatal five-year war that began on July 28, 1914. America's participation was the turning point of the First World War, but the intention of participation in the United States was controversial and did not require assistance from Triple Assistance. In the war of 1940, war broke out in parts of Europe and Asia. The United States had originally planned to leave war as much as possible. The efforts of the American economy during the First World War were weak, and Americans did not intend to join immediately (Bachrach, Deborah, 12). Instead, the United States adopted a safer approach to help European allies get weapons, ammunition, and supplies in general. When the United States noticed that Japan joined Hitler and Axis, they immediately ended trade and blocked many of their trade routes (Encyclopedia Second World War, 81-82).
