Millions of athletes, experts, students and parents have asked this question for many years as university athletes are paid. Staples said, "Currently, about 20 former student athletes are suing NCAA, plaintiff's victory may change the business of university sports" (Staples, 2010). Every year, college sports events bring more than $ 1 billion. Surprisingly, only a few football schools and basketball schools can capture all the money earned throughout the year.

College athletes should earn money in a way related to the sports they participate in. They do not see the financial gain from what they might do for their livelihood, it does not make much sense. Sports is one of the most popular industries in the world and is still evolving. It is therefore meaningful that university athletes have the same economic opportunities as professional athletes. One argument to prove that college students can not justify proof of justification is that they should not receive income as they are not experts. There are some logic behind this discussion, but it is useless if people think the fact that head coach earns millions of dollars every season.

Funds should be allocated to college students organizing funds. College athletes are financially independent and they are not taught about how to manage their own money. College athletes earn enough money for college and some people can not come back. They should take better care of their student athletes by paying for their services (Ziemer, L. 2000). Many college students live in poverty because they do not have enough money to pay all the expenses and basic necessities. The players who graduated from college stayed because their parents donated to them or provided money to them and supported them. If college athletes get paid, more athletes will graduate from college. Paying a salary to a player is a good thing for everyone, and the players will be forced to undergo university education, not just focusing on sports. Because university athletes are not allowed to work, there is no money to buy essentials.
