Redemption: This short story makes me feel very suspicious. A child in the story, Langston, makes you question seriously whether you truly have a master. Langston says that when he was saved by the Lord, he could not feel anything as if there were no one to save him. He only agreed to be saved for the pressure of the family, but it made him question his beliefs. When you read this story, you really start thinking about it.
