Short Essay on a Flood Scene

I live near a small village in the Jamuna River. There are 40 families in our village. Our village is surrounded by Jamuna water in the rainy season every year.

Floods occurred last year due to heavy rain. We have to leave the village. We saw a lot of water. The boat is playing with Jamuna. Many houses are surrounded by rushing water, this is a terrible place

People in the camp received medical assistance. I remember we had to stay there for two days. People's situation is very tragic. They have to line up to find food like a donkey. The poorest people get food first, people like us finally eat food.

The flood of the Jamuna river caused a great loss to the residents of the afflicted area. It completely destroyed the crop. Our village suffered a tremendous loss. Almost all mud house was washed away by rapids.

Hundreds of cattle drowned. When the water went out, the government provided farmers with financial assistance. The poor have money to rebuild their mud house and buy important items such as cloth, sugar, food.
