Mr. Ramot states that most people's perceptions of how writers work are different from the reality of the work itself. In the first paragraph she called this "unconfirmed fantasy". What does she mean?
The illusion of the unknown "Lamotte" means that writers who do not write professionals often beautify the writing process of those who write professional works such as newspaper columns and novels. They think writing is easy to write as a professional; they can sit down and write the first perfect first draft. These experts do not need to modify or edit. They do not tear hair like ordinary people. Ramot assured us that this is incorrect. Professional "writing is crazy" (Lamott 302 par 3). She is traveling a journey that is frustrating just like our other people.
2. In paragraph 7, Ramot pointed out that through experience "finally let yourself believe that process - more or less". Of course, she refers to the writing process, but why is it "more or less"? Do you think her cautiousness is personal, or does she talk about all writers on this point? Description
Because it more or less she just chose the draft process. I think that's all for herself
Individuals and other writers also said your first draft is always bad anyway. She knows
No matter what you write, I do not mind knowing that no one is watching my work.
But she just wrote a head. She kept flowing in the draft, but she began with three drafts.
Only one thing about each option pointed out and it did not improve better than her first one
From Lamott 's article "Shitty First Drafts" she said that drafting was about the process rather than product. She explained from her personal experience why it is like a process in the article. Ramoth said: "The only way I can write anything is to write a real, real, bad first draft, the first draft is a child's draft," writing is my own experience I agree with Lamott's view that it is a process, because I wrote down ideas until I began writing, until I understood what I should write.
I thought that this bad first draft idea would be useful for my writing. Before I started writing the first draft, I spent a lot of time and effort writing my next sentence in my text. As you continue reading the sentence, it is not suitable for the paragraph context, so always abolish the sentence. The real power in the bad first draft spirit comes from doing it consistently. That's because you can work a composite effect when you start to get confused everyday. As momentum increases, it will be more difficult to stop instead of going ahead.
One of the best things I have learned in this course is that we can use "bad first draft" as the basis for writing. Every article needs a beginning, and a "poor first draft" is a great way to start writing in any way. So, knowing 'bad first draft' will benefit me in this class, as well as profit from my future communication area writing and other types of writing. Another technique we can apply to different sentences is to define the audience. The most basic of good writing is to define the audience, so we can make a rhetorical choice based on the audience to make the sentences most effective. This concept of "define audience" can be used with all the sentences I face. For example, in order to make an appropriate rhetorical choice, such as using an official tone, you need to define the target users of the job application. Another example is that if we are writing academic papers we need to identify the academic audience that is the focus of our writing.
