French and English differ in many ways. Throughout history, two are divided by beliefs, lifestyles and different cultures to which they adapt. In the reading semester, the first two novels are published in French, and the sexual reference is well known. Although not necessarily an inappropriate way, the author acknowledges that English is a bit more subtle with respect to sexual quotes. In William Mekepes Sacre's "Vanity Fair", if several paragraphs indicate suggestive progress, the reader will have to decipher.

Charlotte Bronte's two novels "Jane Eyre" and W. M. "Vanity Fair" Sakura are two distinctive Victorian novels. Even if they come from almost the same background, they all clearly show the opposite role. The two heroines showed the same burning temperament and spine, but they did not express their beliefs and ethics in the same way. Their behavior is different, that is why they are ideal personities for good Christians and bad Christians. The materialistic society described in the Vanity Fair is centered on Becky Sharp, Amelia Cedri, friends of a rustic boarding school although fate is intertwined with various results but kind. Sophisticated and ambitious Becky is born in poverty and is the daughter of an artist and an actress (the lowest level civilian). She intends to marry Amelia's older brother Joseph, but failed. Because she is an orphan, she is responsible for her marriage.

Among these three texts, the vanity of William Mekepes Sacre stands out as the most powerful example of composer's ambiguity about female writers. At the Vanity Fair, Sacre often comments on his female character and makes other characters comment on it. Regarding the main female characters of novels, Becky Sharp and Amelia Cedri, the dichotomy of "Xianhui" and "Shiman" is the most clear. Compared with Amelia Cedri, Becky Sharp is drawn as a "bad woman". She told her own thoughts, she was not afraid of men, she flirted with a man in front of her husband, Lawton to get status, she wanted to climb the vanity fair ladder I had to do. If you think it is appropriate, she will use people, such as when appealing to Sedleys, stealing Amelia's jewels and not having the opportunity to marry Jos Sedley. I have never sympathized as an orphanage.
