In this article we will evaluate research on the role of gender, femininity and manhood of Hispanic women. The first is a critical review of early social and anthropological studies explaining the role of Hispanic women before the emergence of women's movement in the 1960s. This article continues a recent psychosocial research questioning the distribution of traditional images and power between men and women in Hispanic families. The role of role in psychology involves evaluating the level of "masculine temperament" and "femininity" in the personal self-concept. In this approach, gender (male / female) can be conceptualized as a variable between male and female (male / female), and healthy gender difference may obscure the relationship of "female sex" and relative poverty. Masculinity and femininity are not equal in Western society. It is called gender discrimination to depreciate men and women (more generally female), or reject men and women other than stereotypical concerns about masculinity and femininity. Like race discrimination, sexism is an expression of intolerance. However, racism means to pollute people for race and ethnicity, but sexism means to pollen people for their sex. Strictly defined restrictive expectations and norms on gender are grounds for discrimination by gender, but it is also included in stereotypes themselves. They restrict the boundary between men and women and limit the development of self-sufficiency freedom, personal interests and abilities. Unless these boundaries are relaxed, individual forecasts can not be emphasized.
