Sexual trading through the 21st century has arrested sex trading and prostitution and increased the number of people engaged. In 2013, there are about 270 boys in the United States alone, girls and girls are obliged to conduct trafficking in persons, and estimated to be 20.9 million people worldwide. The United Nations also estimates that around 4 million people are trafficked each year. According to estimates by UNICEF, 50% of trafficking victims worldwide are minors, two-thirds of which are forced to some extent on sex trade.

Human Trafficking Search blog covers domestic and foreign trafficking in all continents, but the fundamental cause of trafficking of all types regardless of domestic and overseas arises from demand. Trafficking as well as drug trafficking and weapons trading are illegal markets and are dominated by basic economic theory of supply and demand. As common sense in the field of economics, supply decreases as demand decreases. Changing the idea of a slave buyer is important to truly eliminate contemporary slavery and end slave demand.
Sexual trafficking is trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation including sexual slavery. There are two aspects of sexual trafficking, supply and demand. Sexual exploitation is based on the interaction between victims of trafficking (people trafficked and sexually exploited) and their sexual services. There are three definitions of sex trafficking crime, access, movement and exploitation. Child Sex Tourism (CST), Family Unmarried Transaction (DMST), or Commercial Sexual Exploitation and Prostitution. Sex trading is one of the greatest crimes and is "the fastest growing criminal industry in the world".
Trafficking is a human rights violation involving exploiting individuals for labor or sexual behavior. Human trafficking is also a global issue and an area issue. Minnesota has become a nationwide leader in response to sex trading and has established correspondence with trafficking in person. Transactions of labor and sex often overlap and it becomes a victimization of other forms. By deepening the understanding of trafficking in all its forms and related exploitation, we can better protect the victim and give accountability to criminals.
