Severance Hall on University Circle

In her memory, John Severance made a lot of contributions to the completion of the hall, a total of 3 million people. The building was ordered in 1930 and completed in 1931 at a cost of 7 million dollars. The symbolic building is considered one of the most modern and state-of-the-art concert facilities in the United States at the time of opening. Severance also has an indoor concert hall called Reinburger Hall that can accommodate 400 customers. There are 1,844 people in the main concert hall. Prior to the construction of Severance Hall, Cleveland Orchestra first played in a small gray armor in downtown Cleveland, then moved to Masonic Hall in the 1920s for a concert.

Spaces in these areas may be particularly restricted during the day on weekdays. The hotel also has a street parking lot, but it is usually full in front of the curtains.

There are many universities in Cleveland. The most prominent of these is the world-famous research and educational institution in Case Western Reserve University, University Circle. CWRU is a private university with many famous graduate programs and ranked 37th in the United States by the US News and World Report in 2012 in the United States. The University Circle also has the Cleveland University of the Arts and the Cleveland Music College. Cleveland State University (CSU) located in the center of Cleveland is a city's four-year public university. In addition to Colorado State University, in the center of the city there is a Metropolitan campus of Cuyahoga Community College, a two-year higher education institution within the county. Ohio Institute of Technology is also in Cleveland.

Cleveland has several major hospital systems, two of which are in the university circle. Most notable is the internationally renowned Cleveland Clinic complemented by the University Hospital and its Rainbow Baby and Children's Hospital. In addition, the MetroHealth system operates a major trauma center in northeastern Ohio, and locations vary across the Cleveland region. Cleveland Global Health Innovation Center offers 21,800 square meters of exhibition space for healthcare companies worldwide.
