Service Learning Project

I volunteered to participate in my service learning program at Event Center. My job is to see the children participating in the after school program and help with their homework by playing with them. I really like to interact with African American people and culture. I learned a lot from African Americans who worked together. The staff at the event center learned how to educate the children about their manner and behavior after school. I mentioned one of my service learning journals that the staff were very strict and dealt with children like prisoners but this may be a way to teach children the discipline, think.

Organized service learning program The service learning program evacuates students from the classroom and applies their academic and professional skills to the community's true needs. Collaborate with people with different ages and backgrounds to solve actual problems and to clearly reflect the results of their actions so that students can understand their importance in the world. Service learning is related to student, school attitude, attendance rate, disciplinary action, behavioral problems (McPherson 1997).

Successful service learning is a multifaceted education and learning process. Each service learning program is tailored to meet specific learning objectives and community needs, but several factors are important for success. These elements are quality control standards of K-12 service learning. Junior high school science courses on pollution and disease cooperate with the Environmental Protection Agency to understand the dangers of cockroaches and how to inspect at home. In order to educate the community about hazards, tests, cleanups, students created TV shopping advertisements to be shared with local schools and community groups.

Service learning is a way of teaching, learning, and reflection, combining academic lessons and meaningful services in the community. Invite the mayor to participate in a service learning program for your class plan and ask the firefighter or police to cooperate with the student to establish a safety plan for the school or ask the regional EPA staff in your class I urge you to discuss environmental policy.
