These attacks change the history of American history forever and are the result of the long-term plan of Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. This course will consider the origin of modern Islamic fundamentalism and the growing hostility towards the United States. Students learn about the life of Osama bin Laden and the emergence of international terrorist organization called al Qaeda. Review discussions between security needs in democracy threatened by terrorism and protection of individual freedom. When international students want to study in the United States, they need to apply for an F1 visa to become a full-time student. However, since September 11, a new system called Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) was used to monitor the status of students.
