Sensitive List and Chinese Censorship

My project is an illustration art book, my title is a confidential list. In order to better understand my project, it is important to understand the cultural background and the political and historical framework that the project is conceived. I was born and grew up in China and brought up in a strict political investigation and limited personal freedom. One of the coolest aspects of my culture is the "confidential list" created by the government. Essentially, this list contains over 1000 words such as "democracy" and "freedom" - the Chinese government prohibits its use in public.

In order to better filter the content, we also manage a list of "confidential words" indicating the user's behavior in Chinese. These sensitive words will be updated on a regular basis. Government officials are adding words and phrases to the list to influence people who use too many confidential words. China's Internet environment filled with Communist intervention warns about the biggest technology company we know today. Companies like Amazon and Ebay have overcome the storm more than other industries. It turned out that e-commerce is not a threat to Chinese communism rather than a social media platform, it leads to relaxation of regulation. Even though these companies have few regulations, China's local company Alibaba still dominates the country's Internet commerce. Alibaba has the largest IPO so far and is pride of China.

People in China have never interfered them by censorship system. The online censorship system, or the so-called "Great Wall of China Firewall" systematically functions to catch up with technology changes and current events from China and the world. Political scandals, protests, revolution, war, and censorship are becoming apparent under the name of social harmony to control Chinese public opinion. Many people respond to this strict control through creativity. Chinese netizens are used on the Internet as word games, using confusing or homogeneous letters with sensitive words, placing irrelevant characters as "camouflage" among the characters of sensitive words, We are creating a new language format including creating.

The new standardized format starts with the issuance of general Kanji fonts and is revised through the "Modern Kanji Character Table" which tends to adopt vulgar variants. Because vulgar variants are used in the new form, many characters look somewhat simpler than the old ones. Therefore, it is often mistaken for structurally simplified characters. Some examples are shown below. A common misunderstanding is that the simplification process is arbitrary and not based on consistent rules. Such assertions are usually made when case people "discover" "principles of simplification" from case evidence. However, please note that simplification by derivation must follow the above rules.
