Sense and Sensibility (1995)

Sense and sensibility are based on Jane Austen 's 1811 novel of the same name, a 1995 American drama directed by Ang Lee. Emma Thompson writes scenarios and stars of Elinor Dashwood and Kate Winslet plays Elinor's sister Marianne. As they have to cope with sudden poverty, this story tells Dashwood's sister, a member of the gentle family of wealthy English lands. They are obliged to pursue economic safety through marriage. Hugh Grant and Allen Rickman play their respective pursuers. This film was released in the United States on December 13, 1995.
