I think that I can join the general praise of Alan Tam who sells the Asian American community at Happy Sports Club and her best-selling novel "Happy Luck Club". I like the other American appetizers, I hope that I can find the latest Chinese and American literary cuisine. But I can not. Before Tan Tan appeared, public images of Asia and the United States have not developed since the middle of this century. There are no Asian American men except barbarian Japanese soldiers or Vietnamese soldiers.
Waiting for Mr. Joy Lac Club and Kim has fought among Asian women and Asian American daughters through Asian American literature. This also applies to Joy Luck Club written by Amy Tan, and "Waiting for Mr. Jin" by Carol Roh-Spaulding. The two stories are very different, but they are similar in that they portray Asian women and try to respect their American daughters to their Asian traditions. Asian women should take certain actions and mothers believe that daughters should use these behaviors.
