Dr. Rupert W. Nacoste regularly advises students at North Carolina State University about their anxieties in different situations in some way. In 2015 'Prometheus' book, I shared stories about students dealing with diversity in some way and challenged readers to face these differences. This excerpt comes from Chapter 13 "What did you say to me?"
Sometimes when students come to college, they are undeniable that they bring people they want to maintain their old interpersonal behavior patterns. On any campus, students arrive with an old relationship to keep old-fashioned houses. That is why one of the goals of my course is to help critically consider such a young traveler's "how to do things". Otherwise, we will rely on them to our educated equipment.
In one of our open debates, my students talked about sorrow for self isolation. My Latin American, Caucasian, Male, Black, Arabic, Female, Hindus, and Mixed Students all talk about the fact that they have various acquaintances at the university, but each other's party I rarely go to. Brown Party, White Party, Black Party, there are all kinds of isolated social activities.
It is a competition. The fact that newspapers and magazines periodically issue stories about so-called self-isolation dilemmas on college campuses are reflected in the title of this book. In spite of this recognition there are some evidences that students are not looking at the cafeteria easily, and that they are seeking more interaction among the groups. In a recent study on the friendship group of diverse campus communities, researcher Anthony Lising Antonio reported that more than 90% of the 638 third graders studied were mainly ethnic and ethnic discovered. However, almost half (46%) is said to be a mixture of ethnic groups and ethnic groups, which is their friendship group.
The last three pages of important papers were not copied. The report should show less than 20% of referrer
The university's campus has long pointed out self isolation of various ethnic groups and socio-economic groups. If the two paired students are white, the probability that these students will be sent by e-mail is three times that of the two black and white students. However, in the same first-year dorm, black and white students were added to increase the possibility of three e-mail connections, thereby offsetting the tendency to interact with peers with the same ethnic background. Secondly, surveys indicate that roommates and dorms may affect each other's performance, drinking behavior, carrier selection and belief. For example, in a study by a randomly assigned team at a US Air Force Academy, a hostel partner, the average SAT language score for first-year students in the same age group of 100 indicates that the individual student's GPA is about 0.4 I will increase it. Level 0.4 has a considerable impact
David Reingold, Dean of the Purdue College of Liberal Arts, told us: "I felt that they did not change much from the standpoint of independence, even if I walked around the campus of the university.Davidson said that between white and black students, religious students and atheists, new Democrats and new people I am pretending to be a campus organization that is using extracurricular group travel for coordination of people By prioritizing these types of communication the message sent by the school will be of a group of people who share the same intention It is as important as enthusiasm and identity.
