Seeing the Truth in Sophocles´ Oedipus the King

Among Sophocles' King of Edps, there are lots of mention about sight, blindness, and truth. People like Tiresias can accurately predict the fate of Oedipus to see the truth under certain circumstances through their power. Edipus tried to dominate the city of Thebe and proved that the guess of fate was wrong, so he kept his arrogant and arrogant character throughout the game.
